hi everyone... I've been working on making a led tail lamp my car... I'm not alot into electronics.. but i know a bit.. anyways... do any of you know that if there is any special type of led's for automotive products?? or is it the same as any typical white bright led?? any info??? i tried taking off the e. light off of my wing but don't wanna take off the spoiler.. thnx.. any help or suggestion would be appriciated..

I've never seen different LEDs for automotive apps. I'm almost positive it's just a row of ordinary red LEDs.

they make red LED 1157 bulbs- i have some on my car- i dont know if thats what you're looking for

this one is going to have silver aluminum finish... with clear cover...
and this one is going to have a reaall dark red cover...
both are using LED's
