Ok so I have had some intresting problems with my eclectrical not too bad and not interfering with normal operations so it hasnt been a big concern.
Today I was looking in my fuse box under the hood and the fuse for the tail lights was gone and the socket looked melted down! Scary yes.

I have been having this problem with the parking lights, The knob on the column wont turn them on but it turns the head lights on just fine.

The parking lights will only come on when I turn the key to the acc or on position and I cant turn them off unless I turn the key off.

I went ahead and stuck a fuse in that spot under the hood since the terminals were still there and when I went to turn the knob on my column and they came on! So I thought ah theres my problem... Until my stereo and radar detector came on! Odd. Oh and with that fuse in place the parking lights still come on when the key is turned to the acc or on position even when the knob on the column is set to off.

And I am still clueless on what 2 wires are. They are coming from up in the dash behind the gauge cluster, someone extended the wires and had wire caps on them and zip tied them to the spring for the brake (They are not open and are touching nothing). The wire colors are yellow with blue stripe and grey with blue stripe. So if anyone has any ideas what these go to and why they would be extended like that please let me know.

Also I would like to had this car has the fusion f2000 alarm system in it, and im not very confident in how it was wired. And the parking lights dont flash like they are supposed to when you arm and disarm it. Also the drivers side door wont unlock with the remote or the door panel switch but the passenger door unlocks and both doors lock with both methods no problems.

If anyone has any helpful input please feel free to post it.

Thanks in advance!

I know this is an old post but I figured I would update this so that future people searching will have this info. I still have no clue why the taillamp fuse socket looks melted down.. I put the fuse in and it works.

This is mainly a update on the drivers door not unlocking.
The parking lights did not flash because it was wired wrong which may have been why the fuse socket was melted. The drivers door wasnt unlocking because there is a seperate wire on one of the relays behind the radio that is just for unlocking the drivers door (This only applies to cars with stock keyless entry) I ended up connecting that wire from behind the radio AND the unlock wire from the drivers kick to the Unlock (-) on the new alarm and go figure it works perfect.

It is a remote start/Keyless entry/alarm the remote start works, lights flash and the horn honks. I do have a 5 speed so I need to do the safety mod once I figure out how it works.
