They are Bride Low Max GIAS seats with Carbon/Kevlar bucket and gradated fabric upgrade.

those seats are dead sexy. if you feel it will mess up the un-JDM-ness of your car I'll take them off your hands. I have a few vehicles that could use a little JDM flavor.

Too much eye candy and too many logos for my taste; Also the seat backs look bad golf pants from 1974. I realize what they are made of and how light they must be, The important thing is that YOU like them.

Bride are known to be very well liked and used by the honda drivers......that alone says no in a 2gnt.

I think they are well worthy of being in a 2gnt. Thats like saying your car isnt worthy of a great seat because it has been put in a honda or they are "JDM". I say drop them in and rock them. They are great looking seats.

Here's my question. Since reclining seats are absolutely illegal for any kind of competition, those are just fancy seats for poseurs. Why would you spend more than a grand on race-look seats when you could pick up a set of www.subesports.com/products/cat/Seats/brand/Cobra/prodID/658 which are legal for actual competition for under $300 apiece?

actually many sanctioning bodies allow reclining race buckets outside the FIA. DTM for one, NASA and SCCA allow some reclinable buckets as well.

A good seat is a good seat no matter where it comes from. I actually had my eyes set on those for a while now! Think about it this way..... would you rather be a ricer with some horribly uncomfortable APC seats? If I had the spare cash laying around I would buy em! Good luck!

Looking at the construction on those, I'd trust em if I stuffed the car. the rotary adjustment knob looks tight and pretty heavy duty, and the brackets going up the side of the backrest are definitely beefy.

Besides, do you really want a French sanctioning body telling you what is safe? }(
