ok this might be dumb but I want to know if the stock power sunroof on a 97 eclipse gs just pops up or does it actually slide all the way back and open?

it does both. You can have it pop up, and also completely slide all the way back.2 button presses.

Or it could be like mone and just pop and not go back (cause some asshat decided to try and climb out my sunroof while the car was in motion, forever jamming it if it gets opened :( )
