Hey there everyone, well just wanted to share my new upgrade lol. I couldn't pass this up. It was a steal at $100 bucks for the hood. Tell me what you guys think.

Craigslist, just sniping ads all the time LOL. Yeah I wanted the OEM CF hood, but I couldn't pass up the price on this one. Plus the guy I bought it from had pictures of it on his car, which pretty much sealed the deal for me from how it would look.

The oem cf hood would have looked better but for $100 you can't go wrong. Damn, I feel like I got ripped cause I paid $275 for a used vis vador 3 cf hood some guy put up for sale 3 weeks ago on craigslist. Oh well. Make sure you get some hood pins on there asap cause when I searched on here and tuners for ideas on where to install the pins, many threads came up of cf hoods flying up and smashing peoples windshields due to lack of pins.

Wow, I just searched and one guy actually had the same exact hood you got fly up and do some serious damage to his car. It's a sign man. Get those pins today even if you have to go to Autozone. Yeah I know, I'm gonna go get pins. I need to stop by my homies shop and get them. I'll probably have them drill the holes for it b/c I'm too chicken shit to do it to my new hood LOL. Also I have to super slam my hood to get it to latch, so I hope when I put the pins in, that the pins will slide into the holes drilled LOL. Wish me luck everyone. Not my choice of hood but looks really good man,great deal to. I need to quit being lazy and get some new pics of my car up. I have an actual ram air hood to a point that i have only ever seen it on one other car. In my opinion its the best looking hood out there besides an oem cf

I like the sleak look of them but the price is kind of high and it looks like you really have to hack up your hood to install them. Does anyone on here have these on their car yet?

I finally got some pins installed. I was scared when I first started drilling, but I figured I had to do it for safety and I didn't crack the gelcoat hehe. Thanks everyone for all the advice.

Looking good and you got a great deal too, but don't super slam that carbon fiber hood! Makes me grind my teeth thinking about it lol. Lay it down gently and push till you hear the first latch catch, then take your palms and push down evenly near the front lip in a quick "cpr" like motion. Much easier on the hood that way imo.

Know wonder you got it so cheap, look at how far it stick over the front bumper middle thing and the gap on the passenger side between the side of the hood and side of the fender.

I've yet to find a good cf hood which fits like oem quality.

Actually the shots that I put up were when I was just test fitting the hood. I've got a slight ripple in the front bumper, that's why it looks like that (Planning to replace the bumper soon hehe) I actually adjusted the hood afterwards. I was just so excited that I just took pictures with the hood barely bolted in haha.

It actually fits pretty well, I'd say about an 8 out of 10. There are a couple issues alligning the hood, takes longer unless you have a friend help adjust while you bolt the hood in. Also you can use the rubber stoppers near the headlights to adjust the height up and down as well.

No need to apologize haha. Everyone has a right to their opinions as this is the way the internet works LOL. Like I said, the hood was priced too cheap for me to pass up. If I had paid in full, I would have been sorely disappointed, but I needed a new hood and the price fit the bill perfectly for what I needed.
