Where exactly did you guys connect the red wire that comes with the gauges to?

For the black wire i just used a screw but now it seems like there isnt enough red wire to reach anything. I also dont know what wire from the car is power. Green/white? or red?

Im so stuck. Pics would be helpful.

Please help!

Now i have a major issue!!!!!!!!!

Ok this is what happened.

When Putting in the gauges I cut the fog light wire (green/white) and spliced it with the red power wire from the gauges, then I just used a screw to connect with the black ground wire.

For some odd reason now when I turn on my headlight ALL of my power (cd player, radar detector) turn off then when i turn them off the car gets power.

Also the car wont start now it makes a weird continous noise. Like it wants to turn on but it wont.

Undo the wiring you did, start there. see if the issue clears up. If not start looking for things you disturbed.

When I wired mine i used the wiring that goes to the cruise control ect. in those little plugs there is a illumnation wire, I think its green with a white strip and there is also a ground. I also tucked my little trnsformer right behind that little plastic trim so if I had to work with it, it was easy to get to.

I undid everything and the problem is still there the car wont start. Sounds like a machine gun? lol.

What im really confused about is why is it when i turn the headlights on all the power from the radar cd player turn off and when i turn the headlights off the power to those turn on?

Check your battery, you say it sounds like a mahcine gun? sounds like you might have a bad ground at the battery or bad bat connections.

did you disconnect the battery while you were playing with the wires? if not, you probably drained it to the point that it will run accessories just fine but there's not enough juice to kick over the starter. the machine gun sound is the starter solenoid bouncing trying to get the starter to spin but not keeping contact to prevent it from burning things out.

try charging your battery and check your cables for corrosion and good connections.
