So while im waiting for my head to be polished and ported i got to thinking about my valve cover. I want to do something unique with it. I think i want to shave off the letter? Put like DOHC 2.0L Turbo eclipse? idk any ideas?

Why u make the work to shave the letters, Just buy a DOHC neon VC that doesnt have the raised letters? I PC valve covers, Im not saying to do that....But check my thread, I think I'm going to try something new, Imma pc a VC so it has a nice finish, Then Imma Bust out my airbrush and Put a Design like the Famous Stars Logo F on it, or maybe another design, Stay tuned, Maybe you will Find a good idea there. Check the neon forums at neons.org for cheap valve covers -- i just bought one with no lettering for $25 shipped.

Someone had shaved off parts of the C in DOHC, so it spelled DOH! I have the pic somewhere.

I thought the Neon covers had fitment issues in the spark plug hole area? You have to remove the valve cover to change out the plugs or something of the like. I dunno

oh haha all great ideas. Hmm idk about having something funny on my valve cover. But i know 2 friends of mine one has an evo and another has a sti. And their going to do, STILOL and EVOLOL on their plates. random? but anyways, will the neon cover fit right on?
