100562, New enclosure Posted by Star Turbo Talon, Feb-14-08 02:52 PM
Got bored this past month and slowly worked on a new enclosure for an 8".

I just wanted something small to enjoy listening to and that I could install with a silver quick disconnect so that it could be removed for racing. No idea how it sounds yet but I am thinking i just want to sell it and install my 2 10's...lol Oh well.

Cool Idea Terry. Your hand must have gotten tired of sanding, because I could surf on some of those waves :)
P.S. Clean your poop stains off your carpet!

Why in the hell would I go through the hassel of making sure a side that only the damn carpet would see? You guys really are fucking stupid.
The only parts that are wavey is the relief for the console plastic and the damn bottom. The top isnt perfect but its hardly that wavey and besides.....I am not going to waste time working on a side you cant see. Perhaps i should even vinyl the inside of the box.....oh wait, its a tiny bit wavey

I thought it looked contoured to the side of the center console. I think it looks good. How is the leg room with it installed?

my g/f is 5'4" and its fine for her. I sat there and it means one leg cant be extended. Its really not bad since the pass has a lot fo legroom.

Interesting design, and you could always easily remove it for a passenger on an extended trip or something (not that too many dsms make those)

Upgradecar.blogspot.com for the Candy Red Turbocharged 420a, Xbox Talon
Dreamcasteclipse.blogspot.com for the Raspberry 4g63T Dreamcast GST
The enclosure is a little wierd, but its all up to what you wanted, dont try to please other people, it just makes you a whore. The Diamond equipment is nice though! I really like their amps. they have more adjustments that I have ever seen on a 4 channel. Like WOW

That is a sweet enclosure. It isn't easy to make a one off piece without any 90's. Very creative Terry.
