A guy told me you can look at the oil pan and it looks different than a 7 bolt, but without actually looking at the flywheel is there any other way to tell?

I'm pretty sure the oil pan is the only way to tell. Go to vfaq I'm pretty sure they have a section on it.

Sorry guys, I'm not familiar with searching vFaq. For some reason I've always had a hard time finding what I'm looking for on that website so I never go there.
But thank you, my 6-bolt question was answered and confirmed.
