I have a Full Throttle Speed AFPR and a B&M gauge bolted straight to that. My fuel pressure is reading 58psi w/ the vacuum line connected and when I try to adjust the fuel pressure down, it won't go, but I can back the screw out and still increase the fuel pressure.

Is there anything else that could cause this fuel pressure to stay so high besides the AFPR, or do I have to buy another AFPR??

I was thinking about everything else in the fuel system, and all fuel pressure changes should end at the AFPR, like if the fuel filter was clogged or something, but that would most likely keep the fuel pressure low, correct??

One of your lines could be clogged/pinched. When is the last time you checked/changed your fuel filter? Usually when Fuel pressure is stuck like that it is something with the return line. What fuel mods do you have besides the FPR?

depends on which line is pinched. But i am guessing it has something to do with the return line. Have you posted on the DSMLink board? There is aguy up the Kevin Jeweler is his name i believe...he is like a fuel system guru. PM him and ask if you don't figure it out. I am banking on something going on with the return line but I am no fuel expert.

If its not a return line problem, its more than likely your fuel pump. Alot of guys have problems with high fuel pressures when running the 255HP pumps, the return line is physically to small to support all that flow. Thats why you run into unstable idle fuel pressures with the stock FPR. The Aeromotive/SX/Buschur FPR seems to handle this problem better than most, as I am running the Supra 304 pump with no problem in the fuel pressure area.
