Just got it in the mail. It says in the instructions to have at least 24" away from the turbo where temps will be below 850 degrees.

Where do you guys have your wideband mounted??? Some guys even put them after the cat in the stock rear o2 housing or in the front o2 housing, are these okay?

If I need a new bung before the cat, where can I buy one? I can't find one on the net??

If you use one on a Dyno, it reads out the muffler. IF you trust that one then put it where the rear o2 sensor is. If you don't trust it, have a bung welded on the DP before the CAT. I plan to run mines in the rear o2 bung.

Yeah true...but like I said, if you trusted the one on the dyno it doesn't matter.

That also doesn't work...I had no cat then too. I just got the RRE downpipe with highflow cat.

There was a post either here in the turbo section or the advanced section about why the wideband sensors in the dyno are able to get away with mounting the sensor by the muffler, and why our in car wideband sensors are different.

For in car solutions, it's best to mount it before the cat. Pretty sure that if you have a test pipe, you can mount it in the downstream o2 sensor. It's different if you have a cat however. Just to be sure, just mount it a few inches before the cat, or as in my case, it is mounted 6 inches from the regular o2 sensor. It is still beyond the 24 in requirement that aem states the distance you can mount the sensor away form the turbo charger.

Also, I bought my 3 dollar regular o2 sensor bung from napa since aem decided that for $350 for a full wideband unit, they could not include a cheap sensor bung. Yeesh!
