7852, Low Power, Smoking, Oil Leak... Not a good day...

Ok heres the story,
I went to the track today to see what my new big turbo would do.
I did a few tuning pulls on the way there and ended up leaning it out quite a bit off what I had it.
A friend of mine following me said when id jump on the gas Id shoot a flame outta the tailpipe. Thats from running rich correct??

Get to the track car runs like poo, It never really has pulled like it should, Even with the 16G on before. With the 60 trim I ran 14.1 @ 98mph... Not good.
I tuned it pretty good as I was doing track runs too, leaned it out till it knocked, added some fuel till it quit.

History:
The car has had an oil leak on the front passenger side of the motor. It looks like the head gasket but I really cant tell. I dont think its the valve cover gasket because it looks like it starts about 2 inches below the valve cover.
Ill get a pic of where the oil is tomorrow, but its pretty much right on the corner of the motor under the thermostat housing.

Its been smoking out the exhaust for quite some time. I thought it was the vent hoses going to the intake or something easy like that. Added a catch can, nothing changed.

New head (rebuilt) about a year ago, 16 new valves, new valve seals, head was machined, Assembled by a very reputable shop here.

When I got home today from the track I did a compression test:
1-155
2-160
3-162
4-165

I also did a half-ass leakdown test too by just pulling the valve out of my compression tester.
2,3, and 4 checked out great.
#1 had a little blow by the rings and seemed to be leaking into cylinder #2 also, But when I pressurized #2 I didnt notice #2 leaking into #1. wtf?
Bad Head Gasket maybe??

Ive got a brand new Mitsu MLS head gasked and ARP studs sitting in the garage but I dont want to put $200 worth of parts on it if its not gonna fix my problem...

Im sure theres more im forgetting, Ill post more as you guys throw out ideas too. But any ideas why this thing is running like its NT, leaking all over and just being a DSM in general??

Heres the pics of the oil leak, Any idea where its coming from?

Also last night when I pulled the plugs I noticed the porcelain had a red tint to it. What could be causing this??
Im running 93 octane.

You cant really see the color in the pics that great, Its hard to get a picture of them.
You can kind of see the red tint to them. Ill see if I can get a better camera to take pics of em.

Is the oil really wet, or more of a dirty-dry texture? Is it above the headgasket or only below? Pretty much every old DSM I've ever seen has oil there, but it is usually sort of a dirty grime rather than fresh wet oil. It could be the headgasket or something else. I'll look on my car tonight to see what else it could be.

As for the slowness, your compression looks fine. If you are right on the threshold of knock you should be good. What does your timing look like? Bad timing is the root of all things slow. It can turn an 11 second car into a 13 second car. Also what plugs do you have?

Also is the smoking from the exhaust when you are on throttle or off throttle? Or all the time? That oil leak may be leaking oil into the #4 exhaust runner and burning inside the manifold before the turbo. That would certainly cause some smoke.

the oil is above and below the head gasket,
Im running 7 heat range plugs
I get from 17-21* of timing at WOT

The head gasket Ive got init now is a stock composite from Car Quest that i put on when I first got and repaired the car (It was a timing belt victim)

Checked for boost leaks today, none found.
Checked the CAS and made sure it wasnt 180* out, it was fine.

Any other suggestions??
I should be able to run a lil faster than a 14 off my new 60 trim :shrug

Did you get your injectors tuned correctly?? What A/F are you running?

What size injectors are you running?

How is your fuel pressure looking too?? Are you running the stock FPR with your bigger pump?

Learn how to drive. :P
Sorry, I don't have any other input other than that. :(

Lol thanks Tony :P

Dan- Not sure about my A/F i dont have a WB 02
I was "close" to tuned, I was leaning it out and when it knocked i added fuel.

Ive got 660 injectors with a KeyDiver EPROM chip set for the 660's, with an AFPR set at 38 psi base.

Did you have it leaned clear out in the upper rpms?? I believe big turbos need extra fuel on the top end because they can actually supply the air needed..double check with someone on that...but how are you checking for knock?? Did keydiver program the check engine light to come on over 5 deg of knock?

Try leaning out a little more in the top end. Where do you have it starting to lean out? Did you adjust your fuel settings for the bigger turbo to kick in way later?
