7710, Finished installing my FPGreen setup Posted by SilverBullet20g, Nov-24-05 03:21 AM
Well this took forever because I had to customize the short route piping to the drivers side and working full time doesn't leave much time during the week to work on the car either. A couple of small things left and she will be ready for tuning
Changes made: FPGreen Tial 40mm and O2 (new but used) ExtremeIntercoolers 10.5" FMIC kit ExtremeIntercoolers custom intake 3" GM MAF MAFT v2.02 Tial BOV JMF Coolant bottle and EGR block off Removed all emissions and sorry ass vacuum lines FAL pusher/puller fans 10" and 12" GM 3 bar map sensor
Well it started off with this old dirty ass IC and about 10feet of piping

Used a sawzall to chop up the core support for the short route piping. Man this took forever because of the wiring harnesses, A/C and P/S lines

The short route piping. Had to convert to a pusher/puller fan setup because of no room. Tight fit here! I still need to have an extension welded on the dump tube

Custom intake, bling bling coolant tank and tial bov

The only thing left now is to cut up the bumper support, wire in the MAP sensor and put the front bumper back on. :)

Thanks Guys! JR (Extreme) does some awesome work and he is only 35 miles away from me! If you get one take the time to make those holes on the side big because 2.5" piping, couplers and t-bolts are a tight fit. I did most of the install last night and now it's time for turkey day. Beer, football and lots of food :cheers

Well I got the car running and drove it around yesterday getting the LTFT lo-mid and STFT around 0%. I'm using the easy MAFT tuning guide with WBO2 from DSMLink forums. I can't believe how fast the Green spools up! I still haven't done the WOT tuning yet but I have to wait until the streets get dry ;) The bastards gave me the wrong harness for the MAP sensor so I have to wait on that one...
I spent most of the day hacking up the bumper support with a torch, sawzall and cut off wheel. Went through four blades and two wheels. What a pain in the ass!
