How do i know where to adjust the knob too on the back of the BOV? I am new to this so please don't flame if this is a rookie question. I have it install right and it is the HKS SSQV with the recirc kit. I just want to know if i did this right.

My Battery seems to have water coming out of it for some reason. What can be causing this to happen? I am stock other then the BOV which was just added today. I do have a stereo system hooked up in the car but this never happened in my GS, I am curious as to thoughts.

if your battery is exploding like it did on my 90gsx it is caused by the ALT... You will have to replace the alt...... take a reading on the alt and also load test the battery to see if it is bad....

When I first got my BOV and IC piping, I opened it all the way up and then slowly tightened the screw till it stopped leaking at idle. Then I drove it around boosting a little, stopping to tighten it periodically till I started get a little compressor surge when letting off at partial throttle.
Haven't touched it since...

Well how can i tell if i am leaking. At idle it reads around 18 on the VAC side of the gauge.

I am thinking altenator also. I am losing alot of power. Figures......

I could hear it hissing with the dump tube off.

won't make you lose power... It will make things act "funny" though. Lights REAL bright and stuff. Get a volt meter and check the battery when ignition is off. (12V) then check it when running. Should be a little higher (13-14V). If you see it much different than that, it's the alt. saying goodbye.

When I give it gas my whole car lights up like christmas. The car starts real funny after setting a while. I am going to check everything tomorrow at Advanced auto. I believe it is the altenator.

yeah my alt froze up and was putting out 17volts... that is why my battery blew....

Thats what is was. I picked up an optima red top battery while i was at it since the other one was destroyed.
