so now that i have some money to play with, ive decided to build a 2.3 stroker. heres the basics
2.3 stroker borg warner s366 je pistons oliver rods brian crower 280 cams ferrea double valve springs and Retainers mitsu hg king bearings arp main studs/connecting rods/head studs shep stage 4/dog box - still deciding ptt twin disc clutch 1600cc fuel injector clinic aeromotive a1000 pump megasquirt and spark
still deciding on what pistons to use, other then that, this is my setup. any thoughts/changes?

I must question your setup.
-Why JE pistons? Ross and Wiseco have better reviews. -Ferrea Duals? Kiggly has a beehive valve with less mass and just as much pressure. -I'd rather go with a Cometic, since their specialty for DSMs is the 2.3 gasket. OEM MLS will do, but I have heard more and more failing. -If you want the head not to raise, torque them to 100ft/lbs or look into A1 studs, which might be backordered.
The setup will make a ton of power. It will be an impressive machine. However, I would have gone the 2.0 route and rev'd to the moon, since that's where all the power will be.
For your cams, take a look in the marketplace. I might have something for you.

im still debating on the setup. i was going to go with je pistons because of the price so far. its affordable and ive found them in the stroker +.040 setup.
valvetrain i want something that will take some hi revs...like 8-9k. ive read alittle (very little) and seen these could take it.
im going with the oem mls hg over the cometic because it will also be seeing outrageous pressure, 40psi boost....the turbo flows around 80lbs a minute.
cams i dont know for sure....still looking.

ARP specs are fine, they have many proven years. Remember you have an ALUMINUM head, there's not need to torque the studs down ANY more than 5ft lbs over spec. When doing so you risk damaging the heads surface. When ARP recommends a torque spec it is usually good to stick with that.

i just ordered my je 40 over stroker pistons. next will be the oliver rods and king bearings. after that the t4 s366. what do you reccomend for a manifold?

DO NOT get a dnp manifold.
Get in touch with either shearer performance or punishment racing. Lifetime warranties on their manifolds against cracks and you don't have to go through a vendor to get it. I GUARANTEE you'll be much happier going that route.

It's been common practice to torque them from 90-100ft/lbs. The 70-75ft/lbs is what OEM calls for. How would you risk damaging the head's surface if you wrench them down in the proper order while working your way up? He's running a lot of boost - causes heads to raise. This isn't a 16g!!

have you looked into the sce ics titan copper head gaskets yet? they're nice. You also might want to look into oringing the head and/or deck to make sure you keep seal under 40 psi boost. how many pounds/min does the turbo you decided to go with flow?

i was thinking still using mitsu headgasket. flows 80lbs a minute....will see around 40psi. a friend locally (roo on tuners) dynod around 560hp and has had problems with his titan gasket.

I Know this, However a guy in our team has had 30+ years of experience with cyl heads/ engines. Him, also me, have seen MANY times a ALUMINUM head being damaged do to being over torqued. We have built many engines. we also have many project cars with 14b's to 42R's 10psi to 50psi. I am giving this as advice and experience for you to take however you will.....

In our experiences we have used the stock fel-pro head gasket you can buy at places as cheap as autozone. The gasket combined with a "o-ringed" head has held ballpark 45psi or so on a larger frame turbocharger. We personally use filled o-rings on some of our engines. I have a Cometic HP head gasket on one of my own cars, & it see's 35+ psi. If you want to hear it from companies that specialize in 4G63's & such, call up Bushur Racing I am sure they have alot of experience. building the badass motors they do..... All I can tell you is from my experiences just like everyone else.

the sce ics titan copper headgasket also gets reallly good reviews. it's what i'm using on the motor i'm building for 500+ awhp.
