6730, jerking in 3rd gear and then dying?? 98 GST Posted by just2cMEbl33d, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM i have a 1998 GST and it as running fine and all of the sudden i went into 3rd gear and got to 4000 RPM and it started jerking really bad and my car died... after cranking her up 2 or 3 more times trying to get to a good place to stop my CEL came on... i had little oil but enough to get home and put more in... my mechanic says its the CAM SENSOR... any helllp or suggestions that it MIGHT be???
