6727, Crankshaft question Posted by BoostedEclipse, Oct-15-07 01:48 PM
My friend is looking at a 98 gst and the owner told us that the first crankshaft walked so he bought a 99 eclipse long block which have nitrided crankshafts. Is this true?

all 4g engines have a nitride crank. if you fuck one up, they can't be machined to fix them, ya gotta buy a new one.
the 95 and 96 models have the highest chances of crankwalk, and the 99 has the lowest chance
