Alright I know EXACTLY what you guys are gonna say, haha, go buy a shep stop fakin around blah blah, but i was on the phone with the guy and he assures me he builds good trannies and anyway i dont have the money to go out and spend 3g on a shep or Team rip tranny... so if you guys can give me any input it would help... thanks

Since when does Shepherd charge 3G's on a trans. Dont try to save $ when it comes to your transmission. Matt and jeff both got their transmissions from Shepherd and couldn't be happier. I remember them paying around 2G's or so. I could be wrong though.

usually you get what you pay for... will the turbo trix tranny hold up? maybe ... but i'd rather have the peace of mind and know that it will... thats why i went with Shep...

You're damn straight. Shep's trannies are run in the best and fastest DSM's in the country. What you're doing sounds no better than tranny shopping on the Home Shopping Network hosted by Bob Saget.

My Shepherd tranny was $1,463. Where did you get $3,000 from?

And mine built to the teeth was under $2k. Shepherd is proven and proven again. It really isn't worth the uncertainty to find out as far as I see it.

Turbo Trix merged with BM Trannies from my understanding and yes alot of people use their trannies....just not sure how well they hold up.

I believe George needs a whole tranny which means he will spend around the 3k mark since he has no core. I know you can get a TRE tranny for 3k and shep charges 3195 w/o a core.

yeah i pretty much need a whole tranny... I just want to consider all my options so i do not have to do this again

Do a Search on Tuners and Talk on BM Trannies...should be some good info there.

BM trannies fucking blow. How do I know ? Cause i have one. I am debating on sending my tranny to shep now. No point of doing everything else and having a POS tranny BANME!.

I found out some information! you guys know that guy who built my last tranniES lol well anyway, he used to work for BM tranny and apparently they are still really good friends and help each other out from time to time... so it all makes sense, no way im gettin a BM tranny... I know people that have broken 3 BM trannies, then switched to a shep and it didn't break. If/when it comes time for a tranny rebuild it will go to shep.
