ok i know i need the CAS harness but is there eny other harness or modification i need to do! i have looked at magnus.com or whatever that web site was but to me it really was not clear, so a little help from some one that has done this swap would be GREAT!

oh ya it's a 90 4g63 motor goint into a 95 GST

It's been awhile since I've done a 2G to 1G swap without a Megasquirt. From what I remember all you need to do the CAS mod, swap some igintion wires and swap the rear motor mount. I think that's about it.

You need a DSM Link. Makes it real easy. If I remember right you just hook up the DSM Link and it corrects everything for you.

with dsmlink you need to invert the signal so it reads both a cam angle sensor and a crank sensor. when you invert the signal, thats when you have to reverse the order of the plug wires. instead of 1-4 2-3 it will be 1-3 2-4 if im not mistaken. the cas and the side motor mount are the only things that need to be changed. you have to notch out the 2g motor mount so it can fit around the water pump. once you put all this on you will see what i am talkin about. and when you do the swap, dont forget to hook up your oil pick up tube!

well i am going to put the motor in in the spring, gives me time to get all the parts together and give me time to save for dsmlink DAM not cheep! lol but way worth it, plus i have a 95 that needs a new face lift so i will be doing the 97-99 body swap! just some more things to add to my GIANT list of parts to buy!

but thanks for the input i was just looking for tips from people that have done it, it's way easer to talk to some one, than search all night for the right answer answers!

Oddly I haven't done the swap yet, so no need to search it out. But this is a damn fine write up. How did you find this? Did you search ;-) for it?

i've done it before, it was a few years ago but i burned all the info i needed on a CD so i always have it handy
