Hey everyone, Ive wanted a talon for some time now and iv'e found one in the auto trader. There isnt to much about it in the add and i dont feal like calling yet because he lives so far away. i will call if i have to though. First, it is a 1992, but doesnt say if it is an Esi or an Tsi. It is a two door, and i thought they only made tsi's two door. Another thing, about how much would a new clutch be?
And finally, how easily are proformance parts for these to find? Thanks alot for any help.

Well it turns out its not turbo'd:( it also has 285km on it. he sais it runs great but needs a new clutch. 1000$ canadian. Think i should get it and turbo it later or just wait and get an already turbo'd one?

Good enough reason to wait. Making a non turbo a turbo is not just slapping a turbo on. More to it that (i.e. labor and money) IMO, it would just not be worth it.

Hmm......a 4 door Talon, huh? Interesting.

You're on the right track anyway. 92 TSi AWD's are in my opinion the "perfect" DSM.

Well here is another one i found, it has everything i want although i dont really like the flip up headlights. About how much should i save up to add some more proformance? Starting with basic bolt'ons only.

Well to give you an idea, I am parting out my 'race' car ('95 GSX) and I did not even know it but I easily have $10,000 just in parts alone :eek But basic bolt-ons should easily get you into the low 13's. I would not get anything but a 5 speed AWD though :)

LOL! I left the whole quote convo so this may make sense. He said "here is another one I found" but there is no link or description to the other one that he found (at least not on my computer :shrug). Kain had mentioned previously that it would help if there was a link to see. So I just quoted his statement to save on the fingers. But now my fingers are very, very tired :P
