Ok i drive a 2g NT and been getting a little upset about times at the track (16.2) so i have been looking into 1g's AWD. I talked to a guy at the track and he said he was running 16 PSI on a stock bottom end..he had a K&N filter and thats it..dont you need to get bigger injectors/bettter fuel pump for it to run that much boost??? I have tried searching (yet i fail again) to see how much boost these things can run stock and how far you can turn the boost up without any other mods...And say if i upgraded injectors and fuel pump how far could i push the boost..sorry for this newb question..thx let me konw...

1G's have the 14B turbo. He should have no trouble at all running 16 psi.

how much boost can u run on a stock bottom end??? 18? with upgrades???

on a 1G? Quite a bit. I think it somewhere around 20-22psi. (but don't quote me) Someone else care to add somethhing?? :)

but not 20-22 psi on the stock turbo. ;)right now i'm running 15 pounds which is the average for a 14b turbo. i use shell 93 octane but if you run race gas you can bump your boost up to 18 pounds wif no probs. but who uses race gas in the daily?

say what if i run like 93 octain or whatever is the most out of the pump with a 16g with a walbro fuel pump..??
