Being sarchastic or serious? LOL, their reserve is close to 10K, not bad for a dealer. It ould be cheaper from a provate party.

I paid 11.5K for mine, but it's not exactly stock. It looks like it's in good condition, but it might have been raced quite a bit...look at all the shadow marks on the side skirts from his ricer "sponsorship" stickers.

Ah well, I picked up a 95 TSI FWD yesterday for $2800, with 88k on the clock and nothing really wrong with it. Of course, I shouldn't talk because I paid $15k for my 2gnt, but that was 4 years ago at a dealership. Depreciation hits DSMs pretty hard IMO.

I suppose I should say "shop around" instead of naming a number, so I apologize for offending anyone. I've been looking for one almost 2 years now, I realize that's not practical for everyone.

The auction above looks like a beautiful car, I just couldn't personally spend 10k on it. I use my DSM's for driving around and don't really care about show. Hopefully you can talk the seller down, looks like he's used to marking up cars a bit judging by his inventory.

Yah they run about $4500 here in Los Angeles. I just waited around a couple years patiently until I found a good deal. I just lucked out being the first one to check out the car, and thankfully I had cash on hand already from selling my 1G so I was able to talk him down a little.

I would cap it at 8...and don't actually agree until you can at least drive it...taht milage is notorious for the walk...I doubt it has it, but still. It also has a sub-par tint job....so that's gonna have to come off....

but considering the ONLY 2g GSX under 80k I found was for 17k (way overpriced, but w/55k), it ain't a bad deal
