Is the auto in a GSX worth a darn, how much power does it rob, found one for a reasonable price, but has salvage title - should I be worried about title? seen pics, car is in VGC, can't tell damage.
any info would be great.

There's nothing wrong with an automatic tranny in a GSX, besides the fact that you can't shift the gears around by yourself.

do it! }( The ATX does rob a little more power but it makes for very consistant drag runs. Just in case you're wondering, there are a few people with 2G ATX AWD's in the 10's. ;)
Check with your local DMV about the title.
What happens in mASSachusetts is, you trailer the car to a state police place where they check out the car (to make sure it roadworthy) and then give you some paperwork to have the title changed.
There's probably some kind of fee involved but not sure exactly how much...
