We just got good prices on 1G body kits. Theres about four different styles available. Also fenders and carbon fiber hoods available as well. If interested PM me for prices.

Thanks for the effort. I wouldn't make too terribly many of them in the first run since I'm not sure how many 1g'ers are looking to get a body kit.

Do you have CF hoods specifically for 90-91 available (the pop up variety)? That may of more interest to this subsection of the board. Can you post those prices?

Yeah I would never ever recommend getting a body kit for a 1st generation car (or second gens for that matter), but I am certainly interested in carbon fiber hoods for the 90-91 cars. They are hard to come by.

The reason I asked about 1ga CF hoods is because no one sells them. 92-94 are available in other places but no one makes the 90-91 CF hood that's worth a damn.

For the 90-91 we have two style hoods. Here are the pictures below. I'll have prices up by Monday night.

Don't have a pic of the OEM hood on the 90-94 Eclipse.

Yeah I don't have the pictures of the OEM hoods, just an expamle :). They are available, I checked with the ViS website, I'll have prices tommorow...

Please let us know prices and if you can get a pic of one on a car, that would be much appreciated too. If I can find a good priced CF hood with high quality as well as perhaps a hood pin kit, I would be very interested.

just out of curiousity, why go CF? With that kind of $$ you can do TONS to a turbo car...what kind of weight savings are we talking about?

how much does the stock hood weigh? cut it more than half i believe. :D

Stock hoods are in the 60lb range or so. CF hoods are around 8-13 lbs.

And not only is that an awesome way to cut weight, but for a car like mine with pock marks the size of dimes on the hood, it is a good way to take care of a huge cosmetic blemish in one fell swoop.

haha, not to mention to take off some of the dead 1g weight in the front of the car, im interested in a 92-94 oem if the price is right.

No, it didn't fly up. I'm guessing that since the air and hood were so cold and then I'd start my car up and it'd get hot that it caused the hood to start cracking above where my turbo is. It pretty much sucks.
