My goal is to reach 300hp or whatever i make at 17psi. Hopefully this summer ill be able to afford a 95 GSX as my project car. Anyway, with that said, what should i do next?

The two turbo's im looking at are the FPBig28 and EVOIII 16g. I go back and forth between the two, im not 100% sure which to get yet, but im leaning towards the Big28(yes, i know the 16g has more potential). Will an upgraded smic be enough, or do i really need a fmic for my goals? Also, i have a safc2 still in the box, but im probably selling it and going with DSMLink, 650's, and 255 walbro. Im not sure if spending 900 bucks on DSMLink is worth it for my goals, but, i figure its the safest and best way to go in fuel management. Also, i was thinking of getting FP2cams. Anyway, what does everyone think of my plans?

About the FP2 cams, does anyone think ill notice a nice difference if i put them in with the t25?

well, 17psi is 17psi. they're both relatively small turbos so i'm not sure if one would spool faster than the other. but the 28 is direct bolt-on correct?

there is the supra smic but i would just go with the fmic to be safe and it looks sexy :).

the other stuff seems fine to me.

p.s. - if you can't tell, i'm not an expert.. at least not yet :) .

your smic is going to heatsoak at that psi level on a 16g for sure.

i would install the safc, and get a datalogger. or like you said get the dsm link. 18 or so psi on a big 16g will get you where you want.

otherwise you have all the supporting mods, just no way to monitor whats going on.

Either Turbo is likely fine for what you want. Personally I'd go 16g and FMIC, since I know the FMIC wouldn't heatsoak as readily as the Upgraded SMIC. Also, I would do DSMLink simply because it's the best tool out there.

That being said, at 17 PSI, you'll be making good but not huge power so SAFC is a fine piggyback tool for that power level (and much more to be honest).

If you really are honest with your intentions, then your mod list seems fine. If you ever want to go bigger though, it might be wise to buy overkill parts now so you aren't buying twice on anything.

Also, I know nothing about the FP cams. I KNOW Crower is top tier, and would reccomend them highly, but if you are comfortable with FP (they are a fantastic company), then go ahead. I just have no input on them whatsoever. I doubt you'd see any difference with the T-25 since by the time the cams kick in, the turbo is already pushing hot air. The crossover of both their power bands is miniscule at best.

i have the big t28 set at 20 psi and im over 300... with a little bit more mods that u. and yes if ur gonna up the boost i recommend getting a front mount for more air. and def need some sort of device for tuning..

how is traction with the big28?

I have 650s for sale, FIC, I paid 270 for them I can let them go for pretty cheap prob. around 200 shipped let me know.
