2295, rear wiper blade and motor Posted by Diceman19, Apr-20-05 09:27 AM
the ex's dont work. i want to fix it one day while she is at work, unless it involves buying a new motor(100 bucks from "the zone"). i was gonna take my motor over to see if it would work with a known working motor, couldnt get my freakin blade off. i took the nut off but fought that thing for probly 15 minutes. i read on tuners that you have to push on the blade near the bolt to "release" it. i was pushin it with all i had, no go. any ideas?

Ive got one off my parts car you can have for cheap. When I took it off i used a rubber hammer and rapped on either the center stud or on the wiper arm I cant remember exactly.

alright so i have problems now. i got my motor out and put it in her car, still didnt work. that means bad fuse, bad ground, not gettin power for some reason etc etc. it has three wires going into the harness for it. dont want to start probin it and mess anything up. i did figure out why the defroster doesnt work i think. there is a leak in the hatch and the screw and wire are rusted to all get out and the wire has some mildew green stuff all over it, like the stuff batteries get on them if they sit. disgusting. didnt want to mess with that although that might be there "ground issue" lies. any ideas on what i need to do next? i looked at any fuse that said to be related to the wipers. only found one and it was still good. im kinda at a stopping point until i can figure something more out. plus i suck at reading flow charts and electrical diagrams.
EDIT: forget it guys, she just called me and was all pissed off because i "touched" her car without her "permission". i guess a bunch of people were all freakin about it inside her work. either way, i am not going to fix that for her until she apologizes. you try to do something nice for someone and look at the thanks you get.....
