i found someone that is selling a 4g63 with 5k on it, all it needs is the mani's and a valve cover gasket. he tod me to make an offer on it. is this worth it? and is there any way to be sure of what kind of shape its in? the head is off the block right now so ill be able to see the cylnder walls. let me know what you all think, thanks.

Give him $500, hell yeah it's worth it, with the head and everything. $4000, hell no.

A good question for him would be, WHY is it all apart in the first place with only 5K on it?... :wary

he says he got the head and block seperatly, i guess ill take a look and if i can get a good deal ill take it and bring it to a machine shop to see what kind of shape its really in. i need a new motor soon anyway.

I sold my 6 bolt 4g63 with 2g pistons and 1g big rods for 300. It had no miles on it. I never finished putting it together before running out of time and money.
