Now on to swap mods, the 1st gen 6bolt turbo cams are a pretty hefty upgrade for the 2g 7bolt, also the 60mm stock turbo TB is an upgrade over the 7bolt 55mm, and the 16g turbo on the 1g 6bolt is a pretty decent upgrade over the dinky t25 that comes stock on the 2g's, and the 1g bypass valve/BOV holds up so much better than that plastic POS that comes on the 2g... I have all of those things, minus the BOV, in pretty fair shape, and a BIG16g turbo, that is a good step up from the stock 1g turbo, that needs to be rebuilt, if you would be interested, just PM me. Everything is a direct swap and requires no tuning... Though a SAFC wouldnt be a bad thing to have to be able to tweek alittle to get it solid!


This for sure great post but to add a few things you can use the A/F and boost gauge along with the greddy bov just make sure you have the recirculation hocked up or it will throw off you a/f and run real doggy. You can also us the boost controller as well.
