so i had a set of 440cc injectors brand new and there duel spray pattern tipped and i sold them to my buddy that has a 2nd gen tsi,The thing is hes claiming these injectors are shorter then the ones that came out the car and says they wont work.So my question is can you swap 1st gen and 2nd gen injectors between the two cars?I dont get why these are any different I know for a fact there the 440cc dsm injectors but why are they different?

I don't know the details of what years engines trans combos got what, but I do know there were some different injectors for the 4g63 DSM's during their production. Supposedly autos came with 390cc injectors and btw I believe you meant to say 450's not 440's

If it's low impedance, which i'm sure if it's from a turbo dsm, you'll need to run a resistor box in conjunction w/ your dsm injectors.
