What was I thinking...

I was going to upgrade my turbo this winter, But a deal came up locally this last week that I couldnt pass up.

Bullseye Bolt-On T04E 60 trim, Internal Gate, 1,000 miles on it, $500

Ill see how the internal gate works for now and possibly go to an external later.

Its bigger (Too big maybe?? Lol) than I was going to get but I guess Ill never have to upgrade again lol.
My bottom end is going to hate me after this. It's installed Im just waiting on a couple of intercooler piping couplers. I had to re-route some iof the piping.

I give it about a month too... Its already smokin due to worn out rings. I dont think the ring lands are gonna last long.

Im gonna try to take it easy on it... :rolleyes

just set your boost at 12-14 psi.

I'm going to try 16 psi, but I already have a backup motor that should be getting stripped in a month or so for a rebuild.

Well... She's Installed and running.
Boost is set at 17psi right now, Thats what the actuator is set at.
Its not near as laggy as I thought it would be.
Made a couple logs yesterday and at about 3/4 throttle at about 6k rpm's im moving about 2500hz of air. With my 16G the highest I logged was 1900.

It pulls forever! Once it spools up it doesnt stop. :thumbsup

Now time to tune this pig, Its kinda close now (its driveable), Im getting a few counts of knock here and there. I richened everything up quite a bit over my 16G settings before I even started driving it.

Lol to say the least, Its only kinda tuned right now but It pulls like a crazy mo-fo compared to the 16G

Dude, that is awesome!! I can't wait to get my GT35 on now, but I've got all sorts of problems including a fucked up exhaust housing and exhaust manifold! Nothing going on for me for a few weeks.

Holy Hell this thing is a beast...
I went out for a few tuning runs tonight with it and DAMN
It takes it a little bit to spool up, (I honestly thought it would be worse than it is) But once it hits full boost it sits you back in your seat till you let off. It doesnt fall off like the 16G did.

I was worried I went too big, Now I want bigger! :P

Got another Toy in the mail today...
Now maybe I wont leak out of the RFL at 20 psi.
I did a little tuning last night and raised the boost to 20 and it would drop to 18.
I did a boost leak test and my RFL leaked at anything more than 17-18.

I needed a steel flange not an aluminum one and I really wanted the polished alum. colored one :P
