12516, Big T28 Killer opinions
Posted by BigBald, Oct-28-03 08:24 AM
looking for opinions from some of the other 4gers. Doesn't seem to be a popular turbo but it seems to be as good as the 16g as far as i read and been told. Am i missing something here? I might have gotten a really good price on one and since it is a direct bolt on i might go for it. If i am missing something or if there is something i may want to consider about this turbo in general, please let me know.

the ones i have always seen were pretty expensive, seems you could get a lot more for just a bit more $$$

For the condition the turbo is in and what you are paying for it, Its a no brainer.

read the review article at www.dsmtalk.com...its all about the T-28 Killa...FP, right? Thing is, watch where you step, keep the bullshit off your shoes...they're talking about mid 12's with this turbo, which MAY be possible, but definitely (from what i've read about it) not the norm.

P.S. pls keep us posted on your thoughts if/when you get it, I'm seriously considering one of these turbos if I absolutely cannot afford a green, seeing as its seems a ported evo 16g will be almost as much as a green...

I was contemplating one of those awile back for the GST and still think about it. I don't know. I didn't get it before cause I got married and now that I've had time to think about it, I kinda want something bigger and laggier since it's AT and FWD. Unless of course I end up going all out with the Talon and just get the T-28 to replace the sorry ass T-25...

first off..state the price and the condition/miles on the turbo you are looking at. They are around $900 for a brand new one..the FP Big T-28.. but for $900 i could get a small16g for cheaper..but if you got a good deal on it get it..i heard they are good turbos..i wnated one cause it's a direct bolt on.

just so you all know, people have run 12's easily on a 14b and with really good tuning and mods, there are a handful of people running high 11's on the 14b. AWD mind you.

The big t28 killer is a good turbo and certainly is capable of everything a 14b is so the assertions of 12's isn't far fetched. If you can get your hands on one for cheap, go for it.

dude jacked the price up all the sudden so i am no longer interested. I think i am going to eventually go with a Brand new Turbo to avoid any complications.
