12391, 1st Gen BOV Mounting?

I just bought a 1st Gen BOV and was wondering if there was a cheaper way to mount this rather than buying the mounting plate for 15 bucks. Just seems like I should be able to make something myself to get this thing on there. Anything to use from a hardware store? JB weld maybe? Or if not where is the cheapest place to get the flange? Any ideas are apprieciated. Thanks!
