I bought a 95'tsi and the motor blew 2 days later so i'm not very happy with the guy. i was wondering what a good price on a 6 bolt motor is? any offers or prices are greatly appreciated. i do not need the tranny. thanks a lot -Scott

i payed 950 for my six bolt minus the turbo, exhaust many, flywheel, acc such as alt.
it was high priced but i searched for months till i came up to that one. Only to find a week after i brought that one home that in a diff junkyard they had one for like 800 bucks, but i didnt care cuase i was frustrated.

have fun.
Btw you are aware that youll need DSMLINK for your swap??

i found a 6-bolt for 1285 shipped. includes turbo/smic. comes with a 10month/5,000 mile warranty. i have a guy named lucas english installing it. very efficient and experienced mechanic outta portland. i not sure whether or not he is going to use the dsm link. he has done 9 dsm engine swaps before so i'm pretty confident in him. lemme know about the price. thanks-Scott

do you need DSMLINK for the swap? I Just bought a pocketlogger, but i could easily return it and fork over the $$$ for DSMLNK i'd just rather not, but I do forsee a 6-bolt swap in the next 2 years or so (but hopefully not, only 54k on the clock right now)
