ok i got my used Apexi TT today, I also got a harness from DSMParts.com. today, perfect timing! But...

I downloaded the instructions from the Apexi website but they dont say that color wire is what, or where it goes. It gives a pinout of the ECU and says what wire is o2 and Ground on the ECU but it doesnt say what color wire goes there...
Im guessing the 3 solid wires red, green and blue, go to the matching colors on the harness.
But where do the 3 smaller (and longer) wires go? theyre:
Grey w/ brown stripes
White w/ brown stripes
black w/ brown stripes

where do they go???

those are the ones you will be tapping into the ECU wires. Did you get the little red clips with it also? Most people say don't use them but they are fine since it's not like your car will blow up or run like shit if one falls off (ie: S-AFC)
I'm not sure which wires go where but it should say on thier website/manual. Then just go to VFAQ to get the pin-out location.

I bought it used so no i didnt get the red clips but i have tons of em laying around.
I need to know what each wire color is.
anyone with this TT still have the directions laying around?
I just need to know the 3 long wires that go to the ECU

its not letting me link you there, but if you go to www.vfaq.com then electrical theres a pinout diagram of the ECU. The apex instructions tell you what wire does what i'm almost positive, i have them around here somewhere...

ive got it hold on, me looky. ok, the white wire goes to the 02 wire on the ecu(pin 4), the black wire goes to the ground wire on the ecu(pin 106) and the gray wire goes to the parking brake switch.(located right next to the parking brake) you will want to test the parking brake switch as well. when you get everything done, pull the parking brake and start the car. make sure the TT comes on. let it sit for a min then pull the key out. make sure the car stays on(dur...ha ha) then put the parking brake down, the car should shut off. it all goes well, you are good to go. dont pay attention to the ghey instructions. they have the wrong ecu pinouts anyways. almost screwed me up. if you have problems pulling out the ecu to splice wires, dont worry about undoing it and pulling it out. i worked at it for like 45 min and i never got it out of its place. just unplug the connectors and splice them in. :thumbsup let me know if you have any problems.
