I'm looking at this 1g laser turbo.
Not sure if its the stock turbo or not BUT know all this that is written below:

Leak in the intercoler lines
P/S leak under the bottle
WHITE SMOKE OUT OF EXHAUST WHEN AT HIGH RPM(mostly likly head gasket or lots of blow by...please give your sugestions of what it is...)
He says it burns "a little" oil at idle(he changes oil every 2500..humm....wounder why durh.)
wants 3600 for it
He ain't going to get it
He has had no calls but me I've driven it.(and it's been in the newspaper for over a month.)
I'm thinking of telling him 800 cash.
If not that 1,000..thats as high as I will go
It has the biggest bov they make I believe I mean the loudest..its the turbo .....something..its some weird letters....anywas give me some sugestion? Should I keep being interested in it?

I mean I own lots of tools, been to school'n for auto tech....working at a dealer ship blah blah blah...but it's alwyas better to get ideas from ppl that HAVE extacully owned them...please don't be afaird to speak your mind!

3600! for a laser with all those problems and 130k! that's hillarious. yeah i'd look for something else. unless he'll take like 4or5 then part it out.

I paid $2000 for a 91 Eclipse GS turbo with $100k miles. It was well cared for, and needed nothing more than an upper IC line. Offer him absolutly no more than $800.

$750 is the VERY MAXIMUM you should pay.

i paid 3450 for my X and it had 53k on it. :D nothing wrong with it cept a few body dings. tell him to lick his own crack if he wants that much.

i just paid 2700 for my awd tsi. 140k on it, burns a *little* oil, but on 140k i guess thats expected. shitty intercooler pipes, but a 190 fuel pump, gauges, big16g, and 550s.

find a new one. they are out there, you just have to look for a while :)

but see, there IS NOTHING WRONG with my car at all. it hadnt even had the 60k maitenance done when i got it, hence the 3450. (all stock and grandpa driven for only a few years of its life till i found her hidden on ebay BTW)

Then told me that its the turbo burning oil is the reason for the white smoke..I was like..no...that would be black/blueish white is water.....durh...agh....oh well...I tryed.
