11083, Ok after much BS, APEXI N1 installed Posted by deuce, May-02-04 11:17 AM
Now my one question.
I just put it in and there is bluw smoke coming out of the muffle when I Idle.
This is only happening once in a while since I put it on today.
My car was tuned by a Motec Computer from turbotrix to my stock exhaust and from my guage, I am running a bit more rich.
Any Ideas?
TIA!

nah I left the stock cat, but I did have a walbro 255 with no fpr...(i know) and I think that there was an excessive amount of fuel dumping in the cat, then when I opened it all up with the 3 inch piping....It all blew through.
UPDATE
I have been driving it today and no smoke what so ever...wierd....
thanks

blue smoke is Oil. White smoke is coolant and black smoke is fuel.
Did the blue smoke at idle stop since you checked again?

Blue is oil. Just did a check and every explanation talking about blue smoke had burning oil as the cause.
From Nabr:
"For reference: Black Smoke- Unburned fuel (rich) Blue Smoke- Oil White Smoke- Coolant or water"
