10937, Other potential places for boost leak? Posted by FlyinEsi, May-16-04 07:44 AM
I had a blowout on one of my IC pipe couplings and I could hear the boost coming out like crazy. I replaced a few of the couplings, drove around for a few minutes, very nice, back up to 16 psi, and then about an hour later, went driving, and I cant' hear the boost leak anywhere, but it only goes up to 14psi. Any idea what is going on?
I got back under the car today to make sure all the hose clamps were tight, and they are, they are all straight...what else could it be?

You running a stock BOV? 2g bov's are plastic and garbage and won't hold boost very well above stock levels.

he has a mod list in his sig pic.
Make a boost leak tester. It will be pretty obvious where there are leaks.
