10922, 6 bolt swap complete, engine still wont start! Posted by anotherblitzedeclipse, May-14-04 04:52 AM
Ok, I have a 95 GST and I did a 6 bolt block swap and swapped out the intake manifold, throttle body and cams and port matched it. The car has 85-90 psi in each cylinder when it is cold and hasn't even ran, is that good? I checked for spark and it works, I can smell gas so Im sure it's getting fuel and I dont see what I could have done for it not to work. Ive messed with the CAS, swapped plugs around and it wont start for nothing! Can anybody shine some light on this?
Thanks.

It's because of your ECU. You need to send me your 95 eprom unit and I'll give you my 98. :P

how did you wire up your CAS and how bout your injector trigger wires and sparkplug firing order?
So, the engine does turnover but it wont start?
