Nice. I love the look of an FMIC with the black lip cut. What IC is that anyway?

ADFX. http://www.adfxracing.com/default.asp?action=product&vehicle_id=2&category_id=2 It was pretty simple once I got everything out of the way. The pieces are nice and fit perfect. I had take off my foglights though which I was hoping could stay. On the install page, it clears the ones in the example pic but no go for me. :( I think for somebody with a 5-speed, they could have the job done in 3-4 hours. I, on the otherhand had to move the tranny cooler and rig up the lines. Plus, the dipstick for the tranny fluid was in the way so I had to bend that and just all kinds of little things to piss me off. It's still not totally done. My coolant overflow bottle is just kinda sitting there on an angle next to my intake. I'm venting to atmoshere right now cause the return hose didn't reach. Ran pretty good vented cause I'm A/T. :P Ended up taking me 7 hours with lots of breaks in between...

Tell me about it. Took me TWO DAYS to install mine, plus I probably enhaled a cancer's worth of bumper dust from cutting with the dremel. Again, I have to say I LOVE FMIC. :P

Gorgeous. Welcome to the jaw dropping, "what the shit is that on the front of his car, he must be running a T88 on there" assumption maker FMIC. Enjoy.

piping was extra. I got mine through a shop out here and I was supposed to get the whole kit for $1000. When I got eveything in, I was missing 2 pieces so the shop made them for me.

oh ya... I live in Iowa... Teh cops are more concerned about people stealing cows and corn than a DSM without a front license plate

I had it off for awhile before. Just gives cops another excuse to pull me over. And with my exaust as loud as it is, I'm sure they would be all over me... I took some more pics today in the daylight. The black coupler you see coming off the J-pipe has to be replaced with a reducer since it was a BITCH to stretch over that piping. I know it won't be long before it blows off since it's on a weird angle.

here's the nice mess I have leftover to take care of. Overflow has be put somewhere after I get longer hose and there's a bracket with some stuff on it (where the BCS is) thats under the overflow. I have no idea where I'm going to mount that...

edit: check out the BOV return on the intake. A 2 liter soda bottle cap fits nicely wedged upside down. :P

I had to move my overflow bottle too. Take a look at the link in my sig. I ended up hose clamping it to the IC piping till i can figure out WTF im gonna do with it :shrug

I'll eventually stick mine where my SMIC was. I have my tranny cooler ziptied up in there for now but will eventually make up some kind of bracket for it. I'll try to make it so the overflow bottle is behind it.
