I had a straight pipe put in and i got no CEL so far so i'm happy. I can't really feel the difference in the lower RPM's but i deffinatly can in the higher RPM's. Hopefully this will get me into the hight 8's now!

It must really suck only having an 1/8 mile track. Are there no 1/4 tracks nearby? I would barely be in 3rd gear at the 8th.

Youll be happy for a lil while but the CEL will come on. It took my '98 about a month for it to come on but It did come on :shrug

yeah i'm barely in 3rd when i cross the line. there is a 1/4 track but it's like 3 hours away.but i hope it doesn't come on but if it does i guess i'll be taking out the CEL bulb!LOL!

nah don't do that, search for "resistor 02 mod" or something like that, basically wire in a resistor to fool the ECU into thinking the cat is still there
