10424, stalling problem
Posted by EvMan2345, Jun-24-04 08:15 PM
ive had the gsx out past 2 days- during normal city driving, the car wont stall, but when i press it (when engine goes above 3500 rpms), the car will stall when i stop at a light or a stop sign. Sometimes im coasting to a stop (going like 5 MPH) and it will stall on me. I have no idea where to look- Normally Idle is around 900-1000. If it helps, ive got UIP, BOV, 2.5 downpipe/testpipe/catback, and open air filter. This is also at stock boost, havent raised it lately... any suggestions

I thinks its a very bad leak as week. Make sure your mass is plugged all the way in.

did some looking, noticed theres 2 hoses coming off my intake tube after the MAF, a top one which connects to the valve cover, and a bottom one, which isnt connected to anything. Where is that supposed to be connected?

hmm i'm gonna go take a look at mine, actually

I"ll get back to you in a few.. YOu're not talking about the oil blow by return line thingy that connects to the valve cover but rather the other one that connects to the intake tube, right?

*edit*It connects to a cylindrical thing, I think it has to do with the emissions system. Its underneath the battery tray, you're going to want to take out the batt/tray to see exactly what you're plugging it into, probably...

sorry I don't have the real name for it..

probably, I coulnd't find the name in senior haynes or Chiltons, and didn't bother looking at the DSM manual

but if you take off the batt. tray you can see it plain as day I think
