It says that the data analysis program can also be used to calculate new settings for cars equipped with the Apex AFC...
How exactly does it work?
Does it read what your log was and tell you ideal settings for that particular rpm to get rid of knock/timing retard ect.?
I just ordered my cable from digimoto and was doing some homework on palmnstein and started reading about the data analysis program.

I'm still going to try to work on the foglights. I think I may be able to squeeze them in there with a little more trimming and a little cutting of the fog light bracket.
If not, I'll just sell them...
I had them for sale already but want to try to get them on again first.

I don't have an AFC as i use the Keydiver chip. I will be getting one soon so i am not sure how to do what you are asking just yet. YOu did order the adapter also correct?

I ordered the obd2 cable and the db9M->M adapter from digimoto.com. I already have a hotsync cable for my handspring visor with the db9F plug on the end.
Should be all set as soon as I dl the software.
I'm glad you posted about that site. :thumbsup I got ALL the cabling for a grand total of $45 including my hotsync cable and it would've cost me $190 from pocketlogger.com.

ok, so I got my cable and stuff from digimoto.com.
I plugged it all in and hooked it up to the car and can't get a connection. When I start palmnstein, I keep getting an error message saying "no rev" Or "serial open error:750 please do soft reset"
I reset the palm and checked all my connections but it still won't work. :wallbash I just checked their site and it shows nothing about error messages or anything. Is there anyone here that uses this software that could tell me step by step how I should be hooking it up to the car. Does the car have to be on or off and whatnot....

Dunno about the digimoto convertor, but my generic-ass ALDL convertor had a pair of jumpers inside the case that had to be swapped depending if it was being plugged into a Palm or a PC. I also found out Handsprings won't work but Palm-brand will. fwiw.
