10072, Is this Turbo Back exhaust decent???? Posted by EclipseRacer95, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
And if you have any other suggestions for the exhaust on my 96 TSi please feel free to post it. I would, though, prefer to go turbo back becasue it is cheaper and much easier. Thanks

If you want a damn good fitting and excellent sounding exhaust go with Apexi N1, its kinda pricey but well worth it imo.

Yea....I was also looking into the N1 exhaust bust would rather go with a full turbo back system rather than just cat back.

try to stick with 3inch..i've got an N-1 and just got a downpipe from Roadrace, although the N-1 does sound a little farty, but that may be because I have no cat---------> there you go, turboback...

Skip the Japanese name brand crap and get an exhaust from Buschur. It is something like $710 for a full stainless steel turbo-back exhaust. You will have it in under a week and it will be one of the best fitting and performing exhausts you can find.

$900? Are you sure? I guess they really jacked their prices up. Two years ago it was about $710 shipped.
Edit:
Downpipe = $250 Catback = $450 Test pipe = ~$50.
$750. Where are you getting $900? Or are you one of those sissies that actually needs a working cat? :)
You won't find any Japanese manufacturer like Greddy or Thermal that is any cheaper than Buschur.
All I am saying is try around at the US DSM shops first.
Buschur, Road Race, etc.

Here you go, 500 bucks for a turbo back from RNR, or get their full SS turbo back exhaust for 600.
