The gobble sound is bad. It means you have compressor surge and is horrible for your turbo. The spring in the BOV is too tight when that happens and it needs to be loosened just to the point where the gobble stops.

i don't believe you can get an hks ssqv to not gobble while driving normally without leaking.

getting on it, it should not surge.
