Just curious but what plans do you guys want to have done by next year's shootout? Now that we seem to be getting more active (racing/dynoing) we have to keep making strides every year.

In variably tons of stuff doesn't get done but you gotta have a plan, right? I'll post mine later.

Its a long stretch but I would like to have dyno'd close to 400hp.

New turbo installed
Spark control installed
Maybe a set of cams

I want to finally install my suspension, do some body work to get it looking like it rolled off the showroom floor, get a bunch more tuning done, and dyno somewhere in the mid 300's. And maybe an LSD and some axles.

Finish piecing together parts for the turbo setup.
-would like to find someone to build a custom manifold
-build downpipe, get FMIC, build IC pipes
-setup fuel system, get MSnS'd and tuned
-run at the Shootout

All of this is going to be such a long shot for me...I've been having to get by with paycheck per paycheck every 2 weeks, and having a hard time putting any money away for all this. Maria and I need to move out and get our own place as well...as much as I want to say I'd have this stuff done by next year...I have a hard time seeing it all getting done. Sigh...

I don't really have many plans for the RS, as it's at that point where i'm keeping that on stand-still for now..For now and up until the SO, the AWD Laser will be getting most of the attention to get it ready to run in the Stock Appearing class. It's going to get cams, a FMIC, Megasquirt, IC pipes, 3" exhaust, new FPR, blow off valve, and a good clutch. I still need to aquire a tow vehicle and trailer lol..We will see what this 16G can do :) The Laser is up and running now, the motor build is done, and its running very good now during the break-in. I expect low 12's out of it, so i have a lot to do yet, not to mention some pratice with the AWD launches..

I guess I might add that I would like to see what Todd had to say about Daisy... maybe even rip her down the track once or twice for good measure. :)

I think asking daisy to make the trip is enough as it is. I dont feel like fixing your car while you catch a plane trip home.

believe it or not Tony, I didnt get any pictures of your or Greg's Evo's. My only pictures of the lot were all on the same morning. No pictures of Dino's car either. Cant find one of Daisy come to think of it....oh wait Daisy DIDNT GO.

For me ... well my goals are lofty and as things stand right now I don't think I'll finish them but eh ... here they are.

Finish the rewiring of the car.
Install new wbo2.
Retune low boost at 20psi for 106 unleaded (93 tuned at 17psi)
Retune high boost at 26psi for C16 (C16 tuned at 23psi)
Get wheels for track with MT ET Streets
Track the car

Pull off turbo and manifold
Create jig for new manifold and GT30R

Install MSnS
Retune low boost at 20psi for 106 unleaded
Retune high boost at Whatever doesn't detonate for C16
Track the car

Finish new turbo equal length manifold
Install new manifold and GT30R
Retune low boost at 20psi for 106 unlead on GT30R
Retune high boost at Whatever doesn't detonate for C16 on GT30R

Since my car lives in a different city than me progress has been VERY non-existant the last month (I think I soldered a few wires ... that was about it). I put it into steps because I want to make sure its running for the shootout. I want it to at least make 400whp on Buschur's dyno (I'm pretty close as it is).

But if it's all broke when the shootout rolls around ... I'll drive up the 8. :)

Pretty lofty for me considering I really haven't even driven the car since the shootout. I get burned out during the shootout and hardely even want to look at that thing...my daily driver and camaro so much easier on the butt...and other senses.

I have most of the materials to get everything done...getting around to do it is another. LOL

By SO time next year, I want to have Daisy running reliably enough to make it to the Shootout (she could have made it this year, but I couldn't afford two weeks off to make the drive) and the bankroll to fund the trip.

I'd also like to be faced with the decsion between Daisy and the rally car. Sure, Betty's no 2GNT, but it would still be nice to show some rally love at the SO, imo. :P

Wow, I'm actually very similar to Terry's goals. I have some buddies that swear I'm right around 290ish or so right now, but I tell them all I have 220whp and they're just slow LOL. I'd like to be over 350whp for sure, possibly messing with the head considering mine is completely stock still. A nice tune with spark control would be nice as well, maybe that way I won't smell like gas to go along with my burning oil everytime I get done driving the car.

Oh yeah...actually seeing other 2gnt's since I'm finally moving and won't be the only uber Type RS+T stuck in Alaska anymore :thumbsup
