I know it's probably an odd question for a group our age, but I was curious.

There have been a lot of biker deaths recently here in SA (and probably nation-wide) because it's spring and everyone's getting a bike or spending more seat time on theirs.

I have certain assets that I want to make sure get to certain people in the event of my demise.

Granted, I could just tell people, if I die this is what I want to go where, but it's not always honored.

Anyway, I was curious if anyone else has pondered this one.

Yes, but I'm towards the older age bracket of the board at 27. I carry both a will and a life insurance policy. If I should meet my maker one of these days, I want to make sure I leave enough behind so my wife could afford to keep our house or at least have enough to survive without my income as well carry out some of my wishes if I am unable to do so cuz im kicking back and enjoying a drink with the evil red man himself ;)

Yes. I'm in the same age group as Dan (28). You never know what will happen next.

funny thing..i was thinkin about that the other day. while im only 22 and single, i do own 3 cars and am part shareholder to a good ammount of land. id hate to see that go to the gov't cuz i didnt have it specified to anyone.

I have a "draft" of sorts but nothing legal yet. The thought has crossed my mind plenty of times.

i've thought about since i came close to dying twice but i'm not sure that much of my stuff has any worth right now aside from maybe my car (college student in an apt). my gf got this legal software thing for free though that allows you to create your own will so i may conjure one up. i'm 21 btw.

I am 20 (21 in Oct), and currently do not have a will. Not much is under my name, however it is something I plan on doing. More importantly, in my opinion, I have let my family know my wishes should I need extensive medical treatment (i.e life support). While this should be in writing, when the topic came up it upset my mother do I didn't go any further. I will, and advise any student, to take out an life insurance policy once I start my career. I wouldn't want my parents to get stuck with education expenses should something happen to me.

At this point I trust my family enough to take my few assets and divide them the best way possible. Something nobody wants to think about, but it has to be done. Oh, and don't ever think you are "too young" to take plans like this into your own hands.

Sure, whoever wants my 50k in debt can have it. I'll just assign it to whoever I hate the most.

i have a will. over the past couple of years some of my friends and friends of friends have suddenly passed away. heart attacks, yes at our age, accidents, and even cancer again at our age. it was pretty scary. so i wrote one. yes, im in debt, but i have a lot of other stuff that i wanted willed to certain people in case of my untimely death.

I have thought about it Luke just havent called the lawyer on it. I figure i will leave the superbee to my nephew and place the title in a close friends name so no one can sell the car. the 2GNT (with 2.0l) i will most likely Leave to a friend if i ever find one who can handle the MS without destroying the car. 2.4L will be left to someone else. Harley will get left to another friend. Tools will be left to my stepfather or nephew. The house and the mortgage that goes with it would be left to my sister. My hate and anger will left to 2GNT.
