There was a guy I used to go riding with. He was a crazy fucker who was funny as hell. We got to be pretty close over the next year and then we kind of had a falling out over a stupid business deal. I hadn't talked to him in about 8 months since then, but was willing to put it behind me and go riding with the old group again if I got a weekend off.
I found out he hung himself last night.
I haven't heard of any details yet but I guess he was pretty depressed about his ex-wife not letting him see his young daughter. Now he'll never see her again...

Sorry to hear about that man, it always makes you think about things when something like this happens.

I got to know him soon after him and his wife split and his daughter was the most important thing in his life. He really didn't talk too much about his ex but I knew that he hardly ever got to see his daughter and it bothered him alot.
Sucks that he let it get to him as much as it did. A lawyer could have got him visitation rights and then his wife couldn't do shit about it...

And now, his pain is passed out to everyone who cared about him. He might have excaped it, but at what cost? Sorry to hear the sad news, Tony. The thought of putting my friends through something like that is one of the reasons why I never went through with that shit myself.
