The seller is mitsubishigraveyard.com, They have been around awhile you would think that would know not to re use them?

Maybe they are not for street use, maybe they are meant for juggling purposes or for throwing at gophers.

Man, I threw mine in the garbage. But if anyone wants some, I'll dig them out again.

You can reuse them, provided they are not stretched at all. Details on determining if a head bolt is stretched or not can be found in both the Chilton's manual and FSM.

This doesn't mean it's a wise choice, but when push comes to shove, it's not that big of a deal, fellas.

If you want a really cool auction to look up, try searching for a "WAGGON" on the AU site. It used to belong to CHUCK NORRIS.

Ditto it does state that they are reusable if the threads are in good condition and not stretched, but just like ^^^^^ said....not a good idea. I mean come on, I think I would rather spend $25 for new bolts then have to pull my engine back apart! ;)

Yea, but it's not really a wise choice when you can get brand new head bolts from Napa for 22.99, than to spend 15.99 plus 9.99 S&H. Lol.

when I was reading this at first I was like "Whats the big deal, if there not stretched the FSM says you can reuse then" lol thanks for re-affirming my initial belief driggs.

i think the point was why spend the same amount of money on some used head bolts that "might still be good" . Certin things should be replaced with new parts. would you buy used piston rings an install them? Now if the guy was giving them away and paying for shipping than i might see the point but if your gonna spend 25 bucks on a used set whats the point goto nappa and get new ones cheaper or do it right and get the arp's
