"I have a Lamborghini and I've got a big wall," he said.
Moriarty bought the car 10 years ago, paying a collector $60,000. But the upkeep was a nightmare. The gas tank had rust damage, and the engine kept stalling.
"I got tired of having it towed," he said.
But Moriarty, in flip-flops, shorts and a T-shirt, wasn't quite satisfied.
"I want to stencil some tire marks on the wall," he said. "Seriously."
Only in SoCal... bonus points for the bullethole stickers in the rear.

so how hard would it be to weld on the rusted areas of the tank and actually figure why it stalled? might it be because the same rust from the tank clogged the fuel lines?! what a waste of a car...must be nice to be rich...and have a big wall...

Wow, if he was THAT concerned with the upkeep on the car, he would have sold it for MONEY. Instead he SPENT more money to have all this shit done so it would go on his wall. Why doesn't he just be honest and say, "God damn, I'm rich. I don't even want this lamborghini so I'm going to put it on my wall. I am so rich. I am rich."

10+ years? Those that have money (and/or smarts) sold it and bought something better/faster/whatever. Others barely have the money to keep it going. Once the die hards are past that point and make lots of money, they'll hang a gsx on their wall and drive a matching one.

RoadRace Engineering has an entire 323GTX race car on their wall, pieced together from wrecked parts. Tires and all.
