The OLA started today in South Bend Indiana. 8 days, 4,000 miles through 16 states stopping in 8, 19 events (skidpad, roadcourse, dragstrip), and NO TRAILERED CARS!! AMS (home of the first 900 whp Evo VIII) has entered again with Jon Krolewicz driving. Below is a link to his page, which should be updated daily (or close to it). On the page is the schedule - if you are near one of the stops you should try to make it out to see the action. One of the Vipers is supposed to be all carbon fiber and capable of putting down 1000 whp!!!!!! I'll be at the Putnam Park stop on the 11th, and I'll take lots of pics for you guys that can't make it.

Actually, I'm from South Bend,IN. So it's really need to see these cars come here. There have been some amazing cars driving around. I actually get lucky, since we have a TireRack about 10 minutes from my house we get alot of great events like this. They will be coming back here on saturday if i'm not mistaken. They have an event here today also at tirerack.. I think.

Well, at 515pm i saw the Tire Rack Black Porsche on I 80 just west of larkin ave in joliet, then at appx 520pm i saw some white/red honda on I-80 at richards st. I am jealous

Well by the time I got there this morning it was already cleared out. I was kinda dissapointed but it was my own fault for not getting there early enough. I would go saturday and get a bunch of pictures for you guys but I have that meetup in chicago. Instead you will get pictures of passed out drunk dino and the rest of the chicago crew.

I just seen like 25 cars roll through on I-80 today in Davenport Iowa.

Jon put on an absolutely brilliant drive in the Evo this afternoon, beating everything on the premises except for one Ultima GTR in session 2.

It's over. What a week it was, one of the top Vipers out due to lack of oil pressure, one of the top Vettes took 3 individual DNF's to replace and ailing motor and still finished 14th overall and 5 in class - with a stone stock z06 motor. Jon and Martin did us Evo guys proud by finishing 2nd in class and 3rd overall! Truly an amazing finish for a car that was making shakedown runs a week and a half before the event started. Other than an EBC failure at VIR, and a broken dipstick tube at Road America the car performed flawlessly all week. Not bad for a 2.3 stroker putting down 500+ hp.

I was reading last year's journal of his but haven't checked out the new one. the One Lap is really cool, some day I want to put together a Talon TSi AWD and go racing in it.
